KB Class 7/17/2013 and How to Swing for a Blown Disc

Personal Best KB Class 7/17/2013

Warm-up

Circuit – Run through the entire progression three times, total time with work and rest is 30′

  1. Half Get-up 30″/arm
  2. Thrusters 30″/arm
  3. Hand 2 Hand Swings 30″
  4. Contra SLDL 30″/leg
  5. Russian Twist 30″

Rest 1 minute

  1. Snatch 30″/arm
  2. HR Push-up 30″
  3. High Row 30 “/arm
  4. Back Weighted Lunge 30″/leg
  5. Flutter Kick 30″

Depending on time we may throw in a set of loaded carries.  YAY!

Stretch, go home, EAT

I think most KB coaches have shared this video in the last few years all throughout the cyber stratosphere so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon as well.  Some comments I have read have been just brutal (and very funny).  I am not trying to be too mean but C’MON she should know better and since she obviously doesn’t she should learn from someone who does (Strong First, RKC, IKFF, WKC, don’t care, just someone qualified).

Julian Michaels, strike one for the adjustable KB, strikes two and three for this travesty.  Kids, please never swing like this and if you do, our chiropractic clinic’s number is 303-300-0424.

  1. Thanks for posting the Personal Best Denver West KB list. I have been looking back through the lists and occasionally flinching at the memory of particularly painful classes. Darn those bear crawls!
