Shake off the dust…

My training last night was crap, form felt ‘off,’ body felt heavy.  Just was not my day I guess.  That happens though.  When it does, just let it go and put your focus on ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING the next training session!  Cue the Volbeat!

 

Warm-up

Set 1: LC 24kg 2′  8-10RPM

Set 2: 20kg Swing + LC 4′   5-7RPM

Set 3: 2 x 20kg Rack Hold 2’30”

Long Assist set
1. Push – ups on KBs x 20 reps
2. KB Bent Row first side 16kg X 20 reps
3. Ab Wheel x 10 reps
4. KB Bent Row second side 16kg x 20 reps
5. Ab Wheel x 10 reps
6. Goodmornings 20kg x 20 reps
7. Dips x 10 reps
8. Ab Wheel x 10 reps
9. Suitcase pick-up 16 + 16kg x 15 – 20 reps
10.Dips x 10 – 15 rep

Snatch 16kg 8′ 19-21RPM 1 hand switch

Yep, this will be a doozy for sure!

Below is a pic from the 2011 Leadville Heavy Half, it has been a while but I am FINALLY starting to enjoy running again in my training.  Easy to zone out and forget the world.
