I met with my GS coach, Christian Goldberg yesterday for her to watch my form and see where I am at. I first met Christian at my IKFF cert two years ago, she was assisting Ken Blackburn and I must say she is a complete BOSS in GS and the nicest gal around. I thought my form was solid but after just a few minutes she was able to pick up little nuances that I would have never noticed.
She has put together an outline to start on with the eventual goal of making CMS (Candidate Master of Sport) at the IKFF Nationals in October. Due to shoulder injuries in the past (torn labrum) and the pudge around my middle I am focusing on mobility/fixation and improving my aerobic base in the beginning of my training. Set 1: Long Cycle (LC) 20kg 2 min, 10 RPM, rest 2 min
Set 2: LC 16kg 3 min, 11 RPM, rest 3 min
Set 3: LC 16kg 3 min, 11 RPM, rest 3 min
Set 4: 2 x 16kg rack hold 2 min, rest 2 m
- Push-up 20x
- 2 x 20kg Bent Row 20x
- 24kg Back weighted Good Morning 20x
- Row 2.5km
