CrossFit Open 13.1 – 125 reps, the snatches felt great but was completely sauced by the burpees.
Treated at the Crossroads Volleyball tourney this weekend which was a blast, crazy to be working on middle school girls that are taller than I am. The sheer size and scope of the tourney was awesome to see, there were some future Olympians there for sure!
The WODs for the St. Paddy Day CF comp came out this weekend and I think it plays to my partner and I strengths, really looking forward to it on Sunday.
Just got my first tablet last week and found a great app for “Deck of Death’ so that is what we will be doing at tonights Mile High Strength Club. This is a great way to work out on the road and adds a ‘play’ element to training. Get a 54 card (2 jokers) regular deck of cards and flip one card at a time, completing Rx’d exercise as follows. Card value = Reps performed (face cards = 10, aces = 20)
Diamonds = sit-ups
Spades = Kb Goblet squats
Hearts = Push-ups
Clubs = Kb Swings
Joker = stair sprints
