Bitter Bronco ‘Complex’

Still feeling the sting of the Broncos loss, I put together this workout with the hope to release enough endorphins to numb the disappointment and empty feeling in my soul.  Okay I may be exaggerating a bit, but this workout will be a blast.  The intercostal muscles still havent release completely from the virus I had so I am still taking advantage of longer rest periods.  If your technique is sound, give it a go and let me know what you think!

Drop rep complex, complete each exercise one after another for Rx’d reps.  Rest 1 min after each set. Repeat for 10 total sets.

  1. 50kg Barbell Thruster 5x
  2. 40kg Kettlebell Swing 4x
  3. Burpee 3x

Cool down

With my Crossfit Cert rapidly approaching, I have been hooked on watching CF videos via youtube and the main site.  Great motivation, unbelievable energy, and most of the videos feature experienced athletes so their form is spot on (mostly).

Below is one of the best videos I have come across, featuring Mikko Salo, former Crossfit Games Champ and fireman.  This is all grit & heart as well as a perfect visualization of  self-discipline and humility.  Well worth the time!
