Do you ever have one of those days where you just NEED a solid, bust your hump workout in order to get a day going right?  The need to get those wonderful endorphins flowing and just clear your head from all the crap that is floating around up there?   This was one of those days.  I even met a like-minded gentleman in the rack next to me going all Conan the Barbarian with the heavy Front Squats (you will hear his very vocal psych up grunt in the video below).  After I left the gym, all was right in the world (as it always is after a great workout) and I could concentrate on patient care and be in the moment with all of my amazing patients.  As corny as it is, here’s to getting high on life!

*I have just begun using Vibram Five Fingers (KSO) again rather than my New Balance Minimus, it’s been a 6 month hiatus, but it feels GREAT to be back in the ‘ninja shoes.’  If you are interested in wearing Vibrams for the first time, be aware that there is an adjustment period where your feet/calves/Achilles may get (very)sore/fatigued, so take it slow and be patient*

Joint Mobility/Dynamic Warm-up (an example of my warm-up is coming soon, I promise)
