Great Ride with Cherries (and their benefit) on Top

View of Denver skyline from REI

Beautiful day in Denver, not a cloud in the sky but a nice gentle breeze in the air.  Went on a 36.35 mile out and back from REI flagship store downtown out to Cherry Creek State Park (2:15.46).  This was my first ride since Elephant Rock and everything felt rock solid.

A tank for a tank

On the way back home I picked up a few pounds of fresh cherries and while they cost an arm & a leg, they are totally worth it.  Not only are they refreshing and delicious they pack a nutrient dense wallop!  Cherries contain Vit A, Vit C, melatonin,  and antioxidants amongst others that can help reduce risk of heart disease, cancer, fibromyalgia s/s, gout, arthritis, and even help regulate sleep patterns.   I was suprised to see so many cherry trees along the Cherry Creek trail with fruit, so either hit the store or go foraging and enjoy!
